Magical Girl Digital Coloring Pack

Magical Girl Digital Coloring Pack

One of the best things about having an ongoing project – like the coloring book I’m currently working on – is being able to procrastinate on it by doing other, newer, unrelated projects! Nothing is quite as motivating as working on something when you’re supposed to be working on something else, am I right?

The struggle is real

I’m nearly done with the groundwork for my flower-themed coloring book Flowery Dreams – I have 18 coloring pages sketched out and things are coming along nicely. I couldn’t draw Revolutionary Girl Utena and not draw Sailor Moon. And I couldn’t draw those two without adding in Princess Tutu. And while I was at it, it would be silly not to include Cardcaptor Sakura. And at that point throwing in Madoka Magica as well was the only logical thing to do, right? Right??

I had an absolute blast drawing my favorite magical girls – and it was really encouraging to see how far I’ve come as an artist. Just look at this old 2011 coloring page I drew of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask compared with my new one!

Somewhere out there, someone will tell me they liked the old style better…

But I know you aren’t here to listen as I wax poetic about artistic styles and creative growth – no, I know you better than that. You want a new coloring page! A free coloring page! And I could never let you down – so here you go! Fresh from the new coloring pack, Sailor Chibi Moon!
