Beautiful Brides Free Coloring Pages

It's been an absolutely crazy year for me - and the year is nearly over, can you believe it? The decade, as well. It's December, the holidays are upon us, and 2020 is around the corner. And I still haven't finished the coloring book I've been promising for approximately the last 100 years. What have I been up to? Well, doing a distance learning program to become fully certified as a US licensed teacher. While also keeping up with my full-time job as a teacher, and of course some freelance work on the side. Flowery Dreams (my upcoming coloring book)…

Magical Girl Digital Coloring Pack

One of the best things about having an ongoing project - like the coloring book I'm currently working on - is being able to procrastinate on it by doing other, newer, unrelated projects! Nothing is quite as motivating as working on something when you're supposed to be working on something else, am I right? The struggle is real I'm nearly done with the groundwork for my flower-themed coloring book Flowery Dreams - I have 18 coloring pages sketched out and things are coming along nicely. Or at least they were when I suddenly decided that I really wanted to draw…

#MerMay – Mermaid Coloring Pages by YamPuff!

Warm weather, springy vibes, and artists everywhere drawing mermaids daily? Must be MerMay! I've always wanted to be one of those artists that can organize themselves in such a way that they can have daily output during a month like MerMay or Junicorn. I've been participating in Inktober for about three years now and the maximum I ever reached was 17 out of 30 drawings for the month. It's just not my thing. In any case, until such a day comes when I can start churning out art like it ain't no thang, I went through my linearts to find…

Making your lines POP! An Inking Tutorial by YamPuff

Inking used to be the most intimidating thing for me as an artist. Sketching was the easy part - I was usually happy with my sketches - it was the inking process that seemed to take the life out of them, make them flat and boring. I've come a long way since those days and I've been wanting to share some of the most helpful tips and tricks I've learned in this little inking tutorial. Sketches look interesting because of all the pencil strokes and artist guidelines. Some areas are darker or lighter depending on pencil pressure. It's like getting…

Galaxy Dreams – A New Lineart Pack

A while ago, following the publishing of 'Carousel Dreams' and 'Sugary Dreams' I had the idea to publish a third entry to the 'Dreams' series. I thought of 'Flowery Dreams' at first but then a different theme caught my interest; space. And so, the 'Galaxy Dreams' concept was born! Last Inktober all of my illustrations were space themed. However, life got in the way and my muse abandoned me, so I was left with some nice concept art but not enough for a full coloring book. There were, however, just enough illustrations for another lineart bundle on Etsy! (more…)

Magic Bottle – A New Lineart Pack

It feels like it's been forever - things have been crazy busy on my end. I essentially went back to college, am still working my full-time job, and decided that participating in Inktober 2018 would be a good idea! Well, turns out it was a good idea - I never regret doing Inktober - but it does mean some things, like my website, have fallen to the wayside. Anyways, I'm back on track and ready to get some cool new content out for you all, starting with my Magic Bottle collection! (more…)

What I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Zazzle Store!

Websites like Zazzle, Redbubble, Society6 and such are attractive for a multitude of reasons. Risk-free passive income is probably the most alluring aspect. The concept is simple enough; upload your art or designs on various items like t-shirts, mugs, and stickers, then get a share of the profits! Simple right? But as anyone who has ever given it a go will know, it's not quite so simple. I've achieved enough success on Zazzle to have earned a Bronze Pro Seller badge, so I thought I'd share some of the things I've learned along the way. So here's what I wish…

Princess Belle Lineart – Beauty and the Beast

While working on my previous blog post about my collaboration to make princess chibi cookie cutters (which you should definitely check out, if you haven't already) it was brought to my attention that I never finished up my Princess Belle lineart. I have a small but growing collection of Disney Princess linearts, including Cinderella, Elsa, Giselle, Rapunzel and Ariel. I was also previously commissioned to draw Belle, but not in her princess dress. The original Belle sketch is quite old - drawn in 2012 - and I often get requests from people who want to color her in, even though…
