Well, this year's Inktober is finally over for me. There are a few days left in October, but I am feeling burnt out. Last year I only managed around 6 or 7 illustrations and a few of them were random doodles, so for me to have put up 18 pretty much complete illustrations, inked and with some color - well I'm pretty proud of myself! Maybe next year I'll even finish all 31 days of Inktober. But I know when to call it quits. This year my focus was on coming up with concept art for my new coloring book;…

I'm down with a cold and doing my best to relax - which somehow ended up in procrastinating on resting by getting some work done! I spent most of yesterday changing the last of my social media account names to YamPuff from HalfBakedYams (a name I chose back when I thought about starting a food blog, which never panned out). I'm one of those people that starts loads of projects but never finishes them. Over the years I've tried my hand at just about everything - with the same results. Half-written novels, half-finished cross-stitch patterns, incomplete knitwear, and abandoned webcomics. The only exception to that rule has been making coloring books.
