I've had a great time this summer with some DTIYS challenges on Instagram. It's been a really fun way to kind of kick back and get creative without having to design a character, think of a pose, or come up with an outfit. As well, I've enjoyed trying to let the art style of the DTIYS challengers influence my chibi style. I've tried to be a little more fluid and less same-y with the chibis I've drawn. One of the best things about having an ongoing project - like the coloring book I'm currently working on - is being able to procrastinate on it by doing other, newer, unrelated projects! I'm down with a cold and doing my best to relax - which somehow ended up in procrastinating on resting by getting some work done!
